Sarahi Perez

Sarahi (she/her) is a senior at Florida International University majoring in International Business. Growing up in Miami, she witnessed firsthand the challenges her community faced under extreme heat. Her passion for climate and labor justice deepened during her time as the Regional Lead Organizer at the CLEO Institute, where she supported local campaigns like WeCount!'s ¡Que Calor! to push for extreme heat protections for agricultural and construction workers. Through her organizing work at the University of Miami’s genCLEO chapter, Sarahi was introduced to the transformative impact of the CIW. Attending the SFA Encuentro solidified her commitment to farmworker-led fights for justice.
