We are so excited to welcome you to the 2024 SFA Encuentro!

In the past it has typically cost us around $150 per person to hold a successful gathering, which includes costs for transportation, materials, food, housing, and meeting spaces. This year we will be offering a sliding scale registration that allows attendees to contribute based on their ability. We hope that this modified registration alleviates financial barriers to participating, especially for students or youth with limited or no institutional support. SFA has limited funds available to provide scholarships for travel to Immokalee.

Registration is $0-$300 sliding scale, and we encourage you to register at the highest level that you can afford. Please also consider supporting the participation of others.

• Subsidized Registration: $0 - $75
  Includes campaign stickers and buttons, an SFA keychain, and the opportunity to screen print your own shirt! 

• Standard Registration: $75 - $175
  Includes an Encuentro t-shirt, campaign stickers and buttons, SFA keychain, printed Encuentro program booklet, and the opportunity to screen print your own shirt! 

• Solidarity Registration (to help cover the cost for another SFAer to attend): $175 - $300
  Includes an Encuentro t-shirt, campaign stickers and buttons, SFA keychain, freedom poster, printed Encuentro program booklet, and the opportunity to screen print your own shirt or bandana! 

If you are a student, consider reaching out to your schools for support with travel costs. Universities and colleges typically set aside money for students for travel and registration fees for conferences such as the Encuentro. We will gladly assist you with this process if you need any support!
